West Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Romy Sidharta, said tree pruning is a routine activity conducted by his side to provide security and comfort for residents.

"Trees were to shady. Pruning is also aimed to anticipate fallen tree during heavy rain accompanied with strong wind," he said, Tuesday (11/5).

During the pruning, he added, his side involved five personnel.

Guntur (42), one of security officer worked around the location, appreciated the tree pruning run by West Jakarta City park and Forestry Sub-agency.

"Not only providing safety and comfort, now the area also looks cleaner and tidier," he admitted.
